The Story:

Kara and Carlos shared vows during a magical Gloucester City Hall wedding, in the company of their three children and two close friends, before piling the kids into the car for a winter afternoon walk along the dune trail at Crane Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

Back at home, the children fluttered about as Kara baked homemade pizzas, still wearing her wedding dress.

When dusk came, the family ate pizzas topped with squash, lemon slices, and prosciutto. All around them, a beautiful hand-dyed blue tablecloth and a rainbow of flowers lit only by candlelight, all done herself, and all arranged with care.
